TENDER NOTICE REF: SOMALI YOUTH VISION/TD/2024/01

SUBJECT: INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFIED LIST OF SUPPLIERS FOR 2024/2025

A.     About SOMALI YOUTH VISION (SYV)

Somali Youth Vision (SYV) is a dynamic youth led organization established in 2016 by a group of passionate local professionals committed to elevating the youth living conditions in Somalia. Operating as a non-political, non-profit, and non-governmental entity, SYV is dedicated to addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by communities, especially in the Southern states of Somalia. With a strong focus on sustainable livelihood programs encompassing youth development, peacebuilding, entrepreneurship, health, TVET education, and climate change mitigation, SYV employs participatory methodologies to ensure inclusive and impactful interventions. Recognized and certified by both Federal and State authorities, SYV is poised to make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable populations, employing a vision of improved resilience, health, and sustainable livelihoods for the people of Somalia.

SOMALI YOUTH VISION intend to establish a list of pre-qualified suppliers to carry out its work in an efficient and effective manner in order to promote supplier partnership and to improve on the quality of products and services whilst achieving the most competitive prices.

B.      CATEGORIES

SOMALI YOUTH VISION invites applications for pre-qualification from interested, competent companies and individuals to tender for the supply of goods and services in the under-listed categories below for the year 2024/2025.

1.    SOMALI YOUTH VISION/TD/2024/01: Invitation to Tender for Provision of hospitality services (Training, Workshop, Conference, Accommodation and Catering service

2.    SOMALI YOUTH VISION /TD/2024/02: Invitation to Tender for Provision of Transport Rental Services (Cargo trucks, vehicle rental 4X4 land cruisers and taxi services)

3.    SOMALI YOUTH VISION /TD/2024/03: Invitation to Tender for Provision of Carpentry Workshops (Office Furniture, Tables and Chairs)

4.    SOMALI YOUTH VISION/TD/2024/07: Invitation to Tender for Provision of Office equipment (Desktop computers, Laptops, Printers, Photocopy machines and accessories)

5.    SOMALI YOUTH VISION/TD/2024/8: Invitation to Tender for Provision of Office consumables, stationery, printer and photocopier cartridges and consumables

6.    SOMALI YOUTH VISION/TD/2024/9: Invitation to Tender for Provision of Printing Press Services; Promotional/Visibility material, Design and Layout of IEC materials (printing of calendars, diaries T-shirts, caps, posters, ID cards, manufacture of signboards, Banners and Billboards)

7.    SOMALI YOUTH VISION/TD/2024/10: Invitation to Tender for Provision of Travel agents and Air-ticketing services

8.    SOMALI YOUTH VISION/TD/2024/15: Invitation to Tender for Provision of Provision of media campaigns services and outreach services

  INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS

i.        The applicants shall prepare one document comprising the pre-qualification document marked with the category.

ii.     The pre-qualification document shall be typed or written in indelible ink (in the case of copies, photocopies are acceptable) and shall be signed by a person or persons duly authorized to sign on behalf of the applicant.

iii.   The pre-qualification document shall be without alterations, omissions, or conditions except as necessary to correct errors made by the applicant, in which case such corrections shall be initiated by the person or persons signing the pre-qualification.

iv.    Late submission of documents will not be accepted. Canvassing for tenders by bidders/applicants or by proxy shall lead to automatic disqualification.

v.      The applicants are required to submit pre-qualification request per tender category in separate envelopes if the applicant is interested in more than one category.

vi.    Multiple applications sealed in one envelope will be disqualified from further review

vii. Each application envelope must be marked with the tender category reference code number the supplier is applying for pre-qualification.

viii.                                               Any pre-qualification document received after the deadline will be disqualified.

ix.    Applications received after the closing date shall be rejected.

x.      Provide all the mandatory requirements to qualify for a detailed Technical Evaluation

xi.    Giving false information constitutes a serious offense and is the basis for disqualification
